Bobby Moore's West Ham Stand to be Renamed
Tribute to Football Legend
London, England - March 8th, 2023
The Bobby Moore Stand at West Ham's ground, formerly known as the Boleyn Ground in Upton Park, will be renamed in honor of the legendary footballer.
Moore, who passed away in 1993 at the age of 51, was an English football icon and captain of the national side that won the FIFA World Cup in 1966.
The stand was originally named after Moore shortly after his death, and the renaming is a fitting tribute to his exceptional talent and contribution to the sport.
