Denver Broncos Draft

Broncos Trade Up, Add Marvin Mims Jr., Riley Moss, and Adam Trautman

Broncos Make Moves in the Draft

The Denver Broncos have been active in the 2023 NFL Draft, making several trades and adding talented players to their roster. After trading up to select wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. with the 12th overall pick, the Broncos traded back into the third round to draft cornerback Riley Moss.

Acquiring Additional Assets

The Broncos also acquired tight end Adam Trautman from the New Orleans Saints for the 257th overall pick. With these additions, the Broncos have bolstered their offensive and defensive units.

Focus on Defense

The Broncos have focused on upgrading their defense in this year's draft. Top edge rushers and defensive linemen are expected to be available in the later rounds, and the Broncos are well-positioned to add depth to their front seven.

Quarterback Situation

The Broncos still need to address the quarterback position. They have been linked to several potential targets, including former Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. However, it remains to be seen whether they will trade up for a quarterback or wait until later in the draft.

Draft Projections

Analysts have projected that the Broncos will continue to target defensive players and add a quarterback in the draft. With eight picks still available, the Broncos have the flexibility to add talent to several key positions.

Day 3 Additions

On Day 3 of the draft, the Broncos selected offensive tackle JL Skinner and traded for tight end Adam Trautman. These additions add depth to the Broncos' offense and further strengthen their roster.
